The is a new role within Sense Active team will be a hybrid, fixed term contract until the end of March 2026, working 37.5 hours week based from our Birmingham office for a minimum of 3 days a week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the volunteer recruitment process, carrying out volunteer interviews and training.
  • Use IT and digital systems to carry out project administration and delivery including accurate record keeping, Microsoft Office, databases and online software.
  • Collect and input data and feedback on the project, as described in the evaluation process, on behalf of the AW programme.
  • Follow best practice in safeguarding the people we support, GDPR and Sense policies on health and safety, to ensure all young people are safe and supported.
  • Establish effective working relationships with artists, support staff, other Sense teams, and professionals from local authorities, health, arts and education.

Key skills and experience:

  • Experience of supporting people and/or disabled people and their families to identify and meet their needs, wants, and provide signposting when needed.
  • Experience of planning, organising and delivering activities for the people we support.
  • Experience of keeping accurate records of servicerelated activity and ensuring effective daytoday administration of a project or service.
  • Excellent communication skills when working with internal teams, and external organisations.
  • Proficient in the use of IT and digital systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and online software. Proficient in the use of digital communication, and video calling software such as Zoom and Teams.
