  • Assist in maintaining financial records and executing financial procedures.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Conduct audits, producing reports which highlight issues and potential resolutions.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in financial projects within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports.
  • Provide administrative support as necessary.

The Successful Applicant:

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A strong background in a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS excel
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards in the public sector.
