The Role


Speechmatics is looking for our new Technical Product Marketing Lead to drive engagement with our most technically astute audiences, acting as a catalyst with our sales teams to super charge engagement.


You'll represent our technical audience internally across Speechmatics, working with sales & sales engineers on building sales enablement material to help position Speechmatics as the ASR vendor of choice with prospects and customers (building battle cards, helping on competitive positioning etc).


You'll strategically lead the technical audience life cycle, managing engagement at every touch point from our own website, through to communities, forums and beyond.

You'll work with the wider marketing and demand generation team to create campaigns addressing key communication points to support your engagement strategy.

We're looking for you to help enable our sales teams to reach a strategic technical audience.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll get to know our technical audiences well, understanding individual personas, along with pain points, support and buying intention.
  • Partner with sales & sales engineers on building sales enablement material to help position Speechmatics as the ASR vendor of choice with prospects and customers (building battle cards, helping on competitive positioning etc)
  • Own product launches in conjunction with product team and brand team
  • Drive innovation in audience experiences and partner with wider marketing team to scale our message, awareness, and adoption.
  • Create and implement series of developer events including Developer events, training, community activation, hackathons, industry events etc.
  • Plan and coordinate events to drive demand for conferences and speaking opportunities.
  • Ownership of technical engagement calendar, working with wider Marketing team on roll out
  • Craft compelling audiencespecific messages and content (videos, customer success stories, demos, whitepapers, presentations, how to guides etc.)
  • Support on new product and feature launches, creating technical content (blogs, whitepapers, guides, videos etc)

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience of marketing to a technical/ and or developer audience, with appetite to build this area out from scratch for Speechmatics.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing market and technologies
  • Ability to build & execute a marketing strategy with clear goals & objectives that aligns to the company's business and supports growth targets.
  • Manage and monitor dedicated marketing spend, optimize marketing results with clear ROI reporting.
  • Naturally collaborative, used to working across the marketing team and business to drive change.
  • Natural selfstarter, able to drive and influence change individually day to day.
