What will you be doing?

As a Proposal (Proposition) Coordinator you'll be responsible for the smooth running and delivery of industry-leading tender responses, working alongside the project team and Business Development leads.At Veolia you can start a career to be proud of, where you'll be making an impact everydayIf you have an understanding of the UK procurement environment and previous project management or coordination experience we'd love to hear from you so that we can tell you more about the role, life at Veolia and what we can offer you in return.

  • Responsible for coordinating and delivering winning new business and renewal tender opportunities by adhering to our robust proposal process
  • Preparing proposal timelines and producing, communicating and monitoring proposal action plans to drive opportunity through a structured, robust winning process
  • Formulating the overall structure of the proposal submission, reviewing documents and supporting a winning plan before writing commences
  • Oversee the production of proposal-specific collateral and other materials that effectively convey Veolia's brand position, messages, and value propositions to new and existing customers
  • Work alongside each project team to develop win themes and strategies for success
  • Responsible for overall content quality, whilst working to tight deadlines to deliver industry-leading and compelling tenders and proposals
  • Contribute to and regularly update a central bid library. Search, retrieve and input all re-usable proposal components and facilitate required inputs from internal and external contributors
  • Responsible for understanding the requirements of the inbound tender requests and the needs of the customer to create impactful responses
  • Overseeing the successful submission of responses within the agreed timeframe and budget parameter, ensuring all critical path timescales are met throughout the project timeframe
  • Develop a productive rapport with Business Development leads and subject matter experts to guide their response contributions and work with the in-team writers to enhance the quality of responses
  • Suggest reference points, gather evidence and case study requirements to support and enhance the quality of the response
  • Responsible for first-stage proofreading of submissions, overseeing review meetings, and ensuring the completion of essential quality checks
  • Maintain links with customers (as required) building rapport, ensuring clarification questions are submitted and responses received, logged, actioned and communicated
  • Participate in and occasionally lead customer feedback sessions, gather and organise proposal feedback from all project proposal team members, aiming to continuously improve and identify emerging best practices
  • Accountable for the successful completion of Expression of Interest (EOI), Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation in line with corporate guidelines
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and quality and standards of proposal writing and project management through training and development

Proficient in proofreading and editing

Project Management experience

Flexibility to meet demanding proposal deadlines and work under pressure

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Understanding of the UK procurement environment - public and private sectors

Proactive approach uses initiative and takes responsibility for own projects

Assimilate large volumes of information and understand, plan and manage associated workflows

Developed relationships and rapport with internal colleagues

Working knowledge of Google systems, and SalesForce CRM and will ideally have experience with proposal software tools

Passion for quality and continuous improvement with a focus on delivery
