The Role:

Own outcomes for one mature project, complex program, or emerging area.

Drive positive change by defining a scalable, user-centered approach to solve difficult problems. Influence by guiding the momentum of related efforts. Apply your expertise by serving as a subject-matter expert in ux writing, content design, ux principles, user-centered product development methodologies, and research tools.

Collaborate with others to deliver work such as: audits that analyze and identify opportunities to create ux writing and content solutions that increase product value; machine learning heuristics to scale product quality; writing and information design patterns across user experiences; product narratives that successfully guide the user through and within the product.

Lead alignment efforts across teams or products to create cohesion.

When proposing solutions, you may start with language, but look beyond words to influence design holistically.

Proven ability to design products and deliver cohesive ux writing and content solutions for key parts of the product, platform, or user experience; and possess the depth of knowledge, experience, and business acumen required to assess and communicate rationale for your choices in terms of quality, longevity, and scalability;

Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional peers across the business.

Define and drive the future of product experiences. Shape product strategy and design end-to-end user experiences through your expertise in ux writing and content design.

Use audits, research insights, and/or analysis to identify opportunities to significantly improve the user's experience. Influence product vision by contributing to a product narrative.

Propose design solutions that are rooted in UX writing and content design, but influence design holistically.

Responsibilities:

Use and propose key data and metrics to evaluate product impact, such as user engagement, comprehension, and task completion. Understand the product ecosystem, user trends, and industry (e.g., competitors), taking them into account when developing principles, patterns, and frameworks.

Collaborate with product managers, team members and other cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., marketing, legal, engineering) to align and communicate for and communicate a product narrative, vision, mission, or principles.

Create concepts (e.g., mock-ups, prototypes, variants, frameworks, taxonomies, messaging) for user research/testing, partner with UX researchers or conduct research independently to inform UX writing and content design, and seek research insights to drive appropriate design direction.

Create UX writing and content design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends. Partner with stakeholders to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), influence long-term product direction, and generate business impact through UX writing and content design expertise, user-centered thinking, strategy, and vision.

Develop innovative UX writing and content design solutions to user, product, and business problems, adapt to evolving constraints and communicate rationale. Partner cross-functionally to create deliverables, including guidelines, localization and accessibility documentation, context-based writing variants, and content frameworks.

Apply, adapt, or evolve UX writing and content design frameworks for user experiences, including principles, patterns, and systems. Leverage writing and design tools to visualize ideas or develop mock-ups. Tailor deliverables to product or platform requirements.

Requirements:

Solid relevant Content Desgin experience: UX writing, content strategy

Highly collaborative and self-directed

Great stakeholder management skills

Understands needs for content design that can scale

Ability to create playbooks and messaging frameworks

Ability to define, design, and create content-focused user experiences, such as frameworks and patterns that help content scale, ensure quality, and deliver information for specific user needs and markets.

Ability to make design decisions that result in a coherent product, platform, or user experience, including the ability to question and assess execution, craft, longevity, and scale of designs..

Ability to prepare effective presentations in content and function, and to speak competently to the level of the audience.

Knowledge of product design principles and user-centric processes.
