Oxbow Resourcing is thrilled to collaborate with an esteemed Buy to Let Lender with a rich legacy of over 25 years in the UK Mortgage Market.
They are on the brink of an exciting expansion phase and are on the hunt for a dynamic individual to lead their Risk and Compliance team in a newly established position.
In the capacity of Head of Risk and Compliance, you will have a significant role in ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards to uphold the company's standing and credibility in the sector.
- Develop and execute a sturdy Risk Management Framework, Policies, and Procedures.
- Stay updated on regulatory modifications and drive necessary adjustments within the firm.
- Offer expert advice on data protection, AML requirements, and other regulatory affairs.
- Analyze major risks and exposures, providing insights to senior management.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and proficiently manage supplier contracts.
- Transition into the roles of MLRO and Financial Crime Officer in due course.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated leadership in handling intricate projects and teams.
- Extensive background in financial services, particularly in the mortgage realm.
- Thorough grasp of FCA guidelines and best compliance practices.
