About You

We are looking for a driven, proactive social media specialist to join our an enthusiastic and ambitious team.

This role covers both campaign and business-as-usual, working with stakeholders from across campus to produce content that delivers strong return-on-investment for our University and resonates with our audiences across our corporate social media channels.

About the Department

The University's Digital Engagement team are responsible for Warwick's social media presence, sharing content that finds the right audience, at the right time, with the right message. They deliver a creative, digital-first approach to storytelling and build brand and reputation to support the University in achieving its strategic objectives across all audiences.

Over the past 18 months, we have shifted the dial from an outdated broadcast style to an audience-focused engagement approach.

This role sits within the Corporate Communications team – t he experts in managing Warwick's brand and reputation. Team members are expected to work in a strategic, integrated, and dynamic way, leading in a planned, co-ordinated and collaborative way across the organisation, joining up channels, teams and workstreams. There will be an expectation to be flexible and support all of MCI corporate communication functions (internal and external) from time to time.
