About the Role

We're seeking a skilled marketer to join our ambitious commercial marketing team at the University of Warwick. As a Digital Communications Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing digital content strategies to engage our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our commercial marketing and digital teams to create compelling content plans and provide strategic recommendations to inform future planning and delivery.
  • Develop and edit engaging copy, visual assets, and video content for our digital platforms that resonate with our audience and align with our strategic objectives.
  • Support the community management of our digital channels, including engaging with our audience, responding to comments, and coordinating responses with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop SEO-friendly web content to maximize engagement opportunities.
  • Measure and report on the performance of digital content activities to inform decision-making.

About You

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • Considerable experience in creating compelling content for digital channels from a commercial setting.
  • A passion for project work and collaborating with various stakeholders, including business leaders, operational teams, content creators, and subject experts.
  • Self-motivation, a can-do attitude, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing and content generation skills, with a creative approach to content development.

Salary: £29,605 to £32,982 per annum
