We're the team at the Lilian Prime MS Centre in Derby, UK.

We're all about supporting people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions, and we're looking for two new Centre Coordinators to join us on a part-time, job-share basis.

The hours that need to be covered are 9:30 am - 16:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

We are open to discussing any appropriate job share pattern, and will include one hour of handover time each week within your working hours.

It's a crucial role, keeping our Centre running smoothly and being a friendly face for the people who visit us.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily Centre operations and adherence to policies.
  • Handle health and safety procedures.
  • Ensure the Centre's cleanliness and availability.
  • Manage records, financials, and communications.
  • Work professionally with suppliers, volunteers, and the Board of Trustees.
  • Preserve confidentiality of all Centre information.
  • Support our Centre users and visitors with sensitivity.
  • Oversee Centre budget and purchases.
  • Promote fundraising activities.

Experience

  • Background in administration or office work.
  • Experience in budgeting and basic bookkeeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Use social media and charity web.
  • Experience in organising fundraising events.
  • Past work with individuals with disabilities is a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficient multitasker with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Computer literate and strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communicator with health and safety awareness.

£11,050.00 per year
