We have recently refurbished a communal reporting room with single reporting stations both in the main department and new second MR suite.
There is also the opportunity for home reporting with the set-up of new home reporting workstations in 2023.Interviews for this position will be being held on 9th July 2024 in person.
You will be expected to participate in on call (frequency 1 in 12). This involves providing on-site early evening working pm) and weekend daytime on-site working (9am-3pm).
Overnight and weekend on-call working is supported by teleradiology with outsourcing for CT from 7pm to 9am on weekdays and 3pm to 9am at weekends.
Consultant-to-Consultant referral pathway is in operation out of normal working hours and at the weekend. There is a separate networked Interventional Radiology on-call rota.
Applicants must have FRCR or equivalent and are expected to hold, or to obtain within six months, UK Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training and entry on the Specialist Register.
