We are currently looking for a new Yard Operative to join our team based in Horwich, Bolton and help us continue our adventure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained and racks are full.
  • Offloading wagons and taking deliveries of goods into the yard, and ensure they are checked off in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Picking material for Production as required.
  • Manual handling high volumes of stock which can often be heavy when putting goods away and picking
  • Put stock/materials away.
  • Organising waste skips as required.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work environment.
  • Assisting with stock control and keeping the office informed of any low levels.
  • May be required to work additional (overtime) hours when necessary

Person Specification:

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent housekeeping skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • FLT licence desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience driving a Combi side loader is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role and/or a relevant qualification would be welcome, but is not essential
