They are seeking a diligent and proactive Researcher/Analyst to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating new regulations, emerging technologies, fire safety regulations, government policies, and environmental regulations relevant to battery storage.
This role involves attending industry events, presenting findings to senior leadership, and creating comprehensive presentations to inform strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
nConduct thorough research on new regulations, technologies, and policies affecting the battery storage industry.nAnalyse fire safety regulations and environmental policies to ensure compliance and identify potential impacts on operations.nMonitor government policies and market trends to anticipate changes that may affect the company's strategic direction.
Industry Engagement:
nAttend industry conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay abreast of the latest developments and network with key stakeholders.nGather insights and knowledge from industry events to inform research and strategic initiatives.
Reporting and Presentation:
nCompile and synthesize research findings into clear, actionable reports and presentations.nPresent research outcomes and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.nDevelop and maintain a repository of research documents, presentations, and other relevant materials.
Collaboration:
nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, regulatory affairs, and environmental compliance, to ensure alignment of research efforts with company objectives.nProvide expert insights and support to various departments based on research findings.
Qualifications:
nBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related fieldnProven experience in a research role, preferably within the energy or battery storage sector.nStrong understanding of regulatory frameworks, government policies, and environmental regulations related to battery storage.nExcellent analytical and critical thinking skills.nStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.nAbility to attend industry events and travel as required.nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and research databases.
