About us
Our shop is the official retailer to the University of St Andrews.

It provides high quality University branded clothing and goods and provides a welcoming point for University visitors, tourists and the public.


Our aim is to provide a broad range of the highest quality of merchandise to an international family of alumni, students, staff and visitors.

Key duties and responsibilities_

  • Provide an excellent sales service to customers ensuring service levels and sales targets are achieved
  • Develop thorough product knowledge in order to identify specific features relevant to the customer experience.
  • Ensure products are presented and promoted attractively
  • Support your management team to drive store sales, maximise profitability, and achieve KPI targets
  • Maintain stock levels and stock rotation
  • Receive and accurately record stock deliveries
  • Assisting with opening and closing procedures
  • Cash handling including reconciliation and recording
  • Picking and packing online orders
  • Cleaning and housekeeping duties
  • Any other duties that may be required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience of working in a retail environment
  • Accurate and efficient cash handling
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
