Your role in the team


We have a 12 month placement opportunity in our Marketing and Communications Team based at our Head Office on Moira Road, Lisburn, starting in Summer 2024.


The Marketing and Communications Assistant will utilise the full spectrum of marketing activities to support a busy team completing a range of activities for both our own corporate brand and our supplier and customer brands.


This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate who wants experience of a wide variety of elements of the marketing mix - such as social media, website management, other digital communications, print communications, photography, event management and PR.

Support & Deliver marketing campaigns to meet the company's objectives in relation to our corporate brand and supplier/customer brands

Creation of content for PRM's online presence - website, social media, etc

Preparation of content for customer & supplier presentations

Liaising with customers and suppliers to deliver shopper marketing campaigns

Develop promotional aids for our sales team

Creation of brand marketing materials and point of sale (POS)

Organization and co-ordination of internal employee communications, events, charitable work and external promotion of company activities

Monitor and report on all digital marketing activities

Competitor analysis

Conduct market research

Marketing support for our own brands, Galberts & Cottage Desserts, including digital and print


Placement Students who impress on their one-year placement with PRM may be made conditional offers of permanent employment with PRM at the end of their placement for further opportunities where available.


Essential Criteria:


On course to complete second year of a Marketing, Communications or Business degree course by the end of June 2024.
