I am currently working with a well-established client who is one of the North West's leading engineering, fabrication and machining companies.

They are now looking to add enthusiastic individuals to their team due to the business expanding.

At this time thereis an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Multi-skilled Fitter, to work on site in Chorley.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and Multi-skilled Fitter, who is looking to progress their career within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.

Essential Requirements

  • Must be time served with post qualification experience in a technical fitting environment
  • Highest standards of Health, Safety and Quality is essential
  • Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts
  • Working with various materials including Mild steel, Alloys and stainless steel
  • A good communicator at all levels, with the ability to integrate and support a successful team
  • Willing to travel as and when required.
Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulic systems
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Experience with fault finding machine issues
  • Ability to polish various materials
  • A basic understanding of using CAD design software
  • Forklift truck operator trained
  • Driving License
