Mechanical Fitter (Precision Engineering)

Up to £17.71 per hour negotiable, plus extensive overtime at 1.5 times the rate, plus progression, training, pension, and half-day Friday.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter with a background in engineering or manufacturing to join our innovative and highly skilled team. Our company is a leader in designing and fabricating unique, bespoke machinery and providing innovative engineering solutions. We cater to diverse clients ranging from small businesses to multinational corporations and governments, creating unique tools, products, and life-saving medical machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate hand and machine tools to shape workpieces to specifications and check accuracy of machining.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and precision.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Time-served Mechanical Fitter with experience of engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems beneficial.
