Pay:
£10.42 per hour

Working hours:
Variable hours from 8.30 am - 7 pm Monday to Friday. No weekends or Bank holidays. Mileage paid at 40p a mile.


Our
Outreach Support Workers provide one-to-one practical and emotional support and develop positive and productive relationships with people with care and support needs living in their own homes.

We aim to enable them to live well, build and maintain their independence, connect with their communities and reach their life goals.

As an
Outreach Support Worker you might be visiting 3 or 4 people a day and you are likely to be involved in supporting someone to (for example):

  • Access leisure facilities or community groups
  • Read and manage their bills and correspondence
  • Plan and get their weekly shopping
  • Maintain their living environment
  • Attend health appointments
  • Support with Domestic chores
Diamond Quality Care believes good outreach support should be:

Interested applicants do not necessarily need experience but should share our commitment to promoting and protecting the rights of people to exercise freedom and autonomy over how their support is provided, and to be working in a way which ensures fairness, respect, equality, dignity and inclusion for everyone using our service.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided, plus the opportunity to undertake a social care qualification.
