Role: Logistics & Customer Service Manager – FMCG

Location: Central London (2 days in, 3 days from home)

Salary: Competitive

If you're a seasoned logistics pro with a knack for leading teams and managing important accounts, our client's lively Logistics & Customer Care Team needs a proactive, organized, and hands-on Logistics & Customer Service Manager to join them permanently. You'll be in charge of a team of 5+ subordinates, handling day-to-day operations, imports, warehouses, customer deliveries, exports, and demand planning.

Key Responsibilities for the Logistics & Customer Service Manager role:

  • Lead a team of subordinates, providing guidance, training, and fostering growth.
  • Supervise order fulfillment for UK & European customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties like customers, suppliers, and third-party service providers.
  • Participate in regular reviews with warehouse and logistics partners, as well as lead the annual haulier tendering process.
  • Implement continuous enhancements and streamline operations to achieve set targets.

Key Experience Needed for the role of Logistics & Customer Service Manager:

  • At least 5 years of logistics experience, ideally in the FMCG sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing key accounts and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Solid leadership abilities to nurture and inspire a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Native-level fluency in English, with proficiency in another European language highly advantageous.
