What you'll do:

  • Service members making claims in the early stages of membership by assessing medical reports and liaising with healthcare professionals to establish eligibility in line with underwriting terms.
  • Speak to our members in order to obtain all relevant medical information required to evaluate a correct outcome.
  • Servicing members at different stages of their claiming journey where medical assessment involvement is required and communicate the decision to the member in a clear and concise manner.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience of working in a customer services environment and demonstrates strong customer focus skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Bupa's Personal /Company/Corporate schemes
  • Ability to identify sources of data, analyse data and make rational decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy on sensitive medical issues.
  • Proficient key board skills with an ability to navigate PC systems
  • A good telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to manage time effectively.
