Pertemps are working with our large public sector client to recruit for an administrator starting ASAP.
This role will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks that support the VP, Leadership
Development and HR SLT. These will cover both reactive requests and structured and planned
activity.

  • Starting ASAP until the 10th March hours per week £13.
31p/h- Based Dalhousie Land, Edinburgh, EH8 8AQ - Hybrid
Main responsibilities will include:

  • Comprehensive and high quality confidential administrative support to the VP; including diary management, travel arrangements, organisation of regular meetings, event co ordination, assembling agendas, requesting items and preparing presentations and reports.
  • Effective and efficient administrative and organisation support to the HR function; including project specific administrative support to the HR SLT in their many and varied activities, and supporting and providing cover to the EO to Director of HR.

Skills:

  • Min 2 years relevant experience in an administrative role
  • Educated to Higher level or equivalent
  • Good analytical and organisational skills
  • Tact and ability to deal with difficult and sensitive situations
  • Confidentiality and integrity
  • Ability to learn and deploy key University policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, resilient and results orientated
    Desirable:
  • Experience of working in an admin role within an HR environment
  • Experience of using a HR system
