Marriott Manchester Hotel Piccadilly, set in the heart of Cottonopolis, is Manchester's largest four-star hotel with 338 bedrooms including 18 suites, only a 2-minute walk away from the Manchester Piccadilly train station.

Introduction to the Executive Head Housekeeper role.
Operating on the front line, our Execuitve Head Housekeeping will be committed to consistently delivering high standards. They will have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest expectation.
Our Executive Head Housekeeper will be a hardworking individual who can work on their own initiative and lead the housekeeping to success, achieving the desired brand standards of a Marriott hotel.
You will be required to ensure that cleanliness within all areas of the business is maintained to the highest standard and in line with company expectations.
In addition, you will be required to ensure that all tasks completed within the department are completed in line with core standards.
The role requires an individual who has experience of managing, leading and developing people within a similar role in a 4-star hotel or similar.
This is a senior position in our hotel, as a result additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods including bank holidays.

- To recruit, train and develop all members of the housekeeping team.
- To manage the performance of the housekeeping team.
- To maintain high standards throughout the hotel in line with company and guest expectation.
- To manage resources within the department in accordance with budgeted and forecasted costs.
- To manage quality of resources within the department.
- To manage staffing within budgeted and forecasted targets.
- To ensure that effective communication takes place with other departments and within the housekeeping department.
- To be responsible for helping to maintain a customer focused culture which support the values expressed in the company mission statement and the company business goals of profitability and service quality.
- To be responsible for communicating the overall company and departmental goals and objectives and ensuring all employees are motivated to achieving these.
- To be responsible for the welfare and wellbeing of all departmental employees, promoting the professional career development of the team.
- To be responsible for resolving all internal/external customer complaints.
- To manage maintenance issues within the department in conjunction with the maintenance manager.
- To undertake Duty Management responsibilities as required.
- To plan and manage department rotas.
