We have an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in an electrical/automation & control technical role to share their expertise, mentor the next generation of engineers, and contribute to the growth of our apprenticeship services and education portfolio.

This role involves joining a team of specialists in promoting and facilitating Siemens Digital Industry Apprenticeship Services focused on the Level 6 Control Systems Engineer apprenticeship standard, creating a sustainable pipeline of future talent for our clients.

Based ideally in the Greater Manchester area, as a national training provider, travel will be necessary to support apprentices at their workplaces and our subcontracting partners.

You will have an impact by:

  • Coaching on-programme apprentices throughout their apprentice journey
  • Developing a program of development and assessment, setting challenging yet achievable goals
  • Conducting effective and timely learner reviews
  • Collaborating with employers, colleagues, and others to aid learners' development
  • Providing appropriate support, offering feedback on progress, and delivering pastoral care
  • Proactively embedding Safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values
  • Building employer support for Apprenticeship candidates
  • Participating in training sessions to enhance knowledge and comply with CPD requirements
  • Keeping abreast of apprenticeship standards, delivery methods, and funding regulations
  • Creating new apprenticeship opportunities within our client base

You are enthusiastic about expanding your current expertise, which includes:

Comprehensive practical knowledge and experience in electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, industrial communication networks, and variable speed drive applications.

It would be advantageous if you held a Recognised Assessor award (D32/D33, A1, or TAQA) and had familiarity with apprentice standards.
