- Plan, lead, and review a variety of activities for children, ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety protocols.
- Support and enhance the personal and educational requirements of children to promote their overall well-being.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to address the needs and progress of children, constantly monitoring their development.
- Ensure the safety of children and understand how to protect them, following Child Protection Procedures when necessary.
- Display best practices concerning special needs and inclusion, actively participating in and supporting children's learning.
Individual and shared targets and objectives are set annually within our performance management framework.
For this role, you should at least be educated to RQF Level 2 (GCSE) in English and Maths with a qualification in Early Years Care and Education or an equivalent vocational qualification.
- Prior experience working in a childcare setting is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are key, allowing you to build relationships with both children and adults effortlessly.
- Demonstrated capability to plan and deliver activities that enhance the emotional, physical, social, and intellectual skills of children.
