Our in-house Learning Disabilities Trainer will ensure you have the competencies and specialist learning disabilities training for your role.

  • Pay
    :£10.00 p/hr (8am10pm)

As a
Learning Disabilities
Support Worker, you will be based in
Chopwell, supporting a very
sociable 40-year-old man to live a happy and fulfilled life, participating in local community activities such
fishing, boxing, bingo, coffee, and clothes shopping.

You will support this individual to learn independent living skills such as managing a tenancy, cooking, and cleaning.

LIFE by Be Caring is looking to recruit experienced
Support Workers to join a newly established Independent Supported Living (ISL) service in the
Chopwell (NE17) area of Gateshead. As a
Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will be part of an integral team providing tailored person-centred care to our tenants which is both meaningful and wellbeing focused.

We offer various shift patterns, including:

  • Parttime hours available
  • Fulltime hours available
  • Weekend work undertaken on a rota basis.
  • 24hr shifts (includes sleepover hours)
