Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who like the outdoors, has excellent communication skills and enjoys meeting people.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers to the nursery
  • Provide excellent customer service by looking after customer needs and concerns
  • Process sales orders and when needed, help to their cars
  • Answering phone calls and dealing with queries or passing information to other departments.
  • Managing stock, raising orders and taking in deliveries
  • Assist colleagues with that they need
  • Assist in organizing sales events or promotions
  • Keep areas tidy and maintain health & safety protocols on site

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred
  • Polite and friendly nature
  • Good English is essential
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Basic math skills for processing orders and calculating discounts or pricing
We are looking for a friendly, motivated individual who is not afraid of hard work. There will be a physical element to the role.
