About the Role

HSL Chairs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Showroom Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute in-store promotions and events.
  • Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
  • Provide coaching and training to sales assistants to improve their sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Manage customer complaints and feedback to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the area manager to achieve business objectives and implement company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a furniture or home furnishings industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills, with a focus on driving revenue growth and improving customer engagement.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising and inventory management principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
