About the Trust


We're a community and mental health trust, providing a wide range of services to people of all ages living in Berkshire.

And to do this, we employ approximately 4,500 staff who operate from our many sites as well as out in people's homes and in various community settings.

We are currently looking for two administrators to join the Autism Assessment Team and ADHD Team. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9-5, paying £11.85 per hour.

What you'll be responsible for:

We are looking for a Band 3 to join a friendly and supportive admin team to provide flexible

administrative support across the Autism Assessment Team and ADHD Team

Key tasks include:


Booking appointments, updating rota, associated tasks

Processing Education and Health Care plan requests

Sending out new referral packs/letters/reports

Ensure accurate data is recorded in a timely way on all electronic systems, in particular RiO, and conforms to necessary policies, processes and protocols

To support projects and ad-hoc work requirements by undertaking a variety of administration and clerical tasks

Reception duties when required

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written

  • Microsoft office skills
  • Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of administration and/or office procedures
  • Ability to empathise, be supportive and sensitive to needs of others

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
