Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine

The posts are ideal for people with a developing passion for Emergency Medicine who want to start taking on EM junior middle-grade responsibilities in a well-supported and pro-active department or those who are already confident with middle grade duties and are looking to consolidate an established passion for this exciting specialty.
Applicants interested in a purely clinical role would be welcome.
Current examples of clinical fellow projects include:
Ultrasound, leadership, simulation, Research and others, however future projects can be tailored depending on personal career needs/interest/development of training.
During clinical time, the post-holder will work at junior middle grade level in the Emergency Department.
The successful applicant must be comfortable assessing and initiating management of cases presenting to the department, and will be encouraged to develop team leadership skills, with supervision.
It is expected the post holders will act as role models for medical students and will have excellent communication skills and initiative.
There would be a 1:3 weekend and a maximum 1:6 night frequency.Non
- clinical / special interest time will be spent undertaking activities agreed between the post holder and their supervisor, with various opportunities.
