Summary of Role:


This role will closely with the Customer Service Manager and Engineer team at our site in Telford, to ensure a high level of administrative support is given to the NIS team along with this they will play a role in ensuring parts are procured for the manufacturing process in a timely manner.


Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process for bills of materials and adhoc purchases.
  • Coordinate requests from engineering/sales teams with suppliers.
  • Source new suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Manage inventory and participate in stocktakes.
  • Resolve problems relating to sourcing of parts taking innovative action
  • Responsible for order release decisions.
  • Keeps records of all communication with customers, anticipates developments and identifies accounts that will require special attention.
  • Resolves problems relating to invoicing, proof of delivery, credit notes etc. and liaises internally to progress problems through other departments.
  • Coordinates with and supports customer service.
  • Manage Service Requests and Servicerelated Invoicing.
  • Arrange product deliveries to the customer ensuring no over dues prior to delivery.
  • Support Proposals/ sales Engineering with uptodate supplier pricing.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Highly skilled in PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Previous Administration is preferred but not essential
  • Training will be provided
