Our Company is looking for a Procurement/Commercial Assistant to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the appropriate departments, with the emphasis of ontime delivery
  • Communicating with other departments
  • Inbound and Outbound calls to suppliers and other departments
  • Visiting suppliers
  • Raising purchase orders on the inhouse system
  • Supporting QS, reconcile & record costs
  • Checking and recording order confirmations
  • Communicate, negotiate and build relationships with suppliers
  • Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate best prices for the business
  • Develop and maintain customer and supplier relationship's
  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • An ability to organise, prioritise and has a proactive approach
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to manage own workload
  • Any other general administration duties as required by the department
  • Ability to work to strict targets
  • Maintaining relevant records to each department
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part as a team
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
  • Detailed and systematic approach to presented information
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel required
  • Construction materials background/ knowledge preferred
Must hold a UK Driving License
