We're looking for an enthusiastic and well-organized individual to join our client, a healthcare provider in Rotherham, in the role of Administrative Assistant.

This position involves various administrative tasks, room bookings, and typing responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be efficient, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.

Responsibilities:

General Administration:

  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering calls, addressing inquiries, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with data entry and record-keeping.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors.

Room Booking:

  • Manage room bookings for meetings, events, and appointments.
  • Coordinate schedules and ensure optimal utilization of available spaces.
  • Communicate with team members to confirm bookings and resolve any conflicts.

Typing and Documentation:

  • Prepare and edit various documents, including correspondence, reports, and memos.
  • Type up meeting minutes, notes, and other relevant materials accurately.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

A competitive hourly rate ranging from £12.82 to £13.33 is offered, and the position is full-time (37 hours per week) with potential for permanent placement.
