Il Trillo, Chelsea's much-loved fine dining Italian restaurant is seeking an experienced and personable Commis Waiter/Runnerto join it's friendly front-of-house team on a part-time basis.

Working between 15-20 hours across three to four days per week and an hourly wage of £12.00 to £13.00 per hour (depending on experience).


The majority of shifts will be in the evening (for 5 hour from 7:30pm onwards), with lunch shifts only at the weekend.

The restaurant is always closed on Mondays and only open for lunch on Saturday and Sundays.


As Commis Waiter/Runner you will work alongside the floor team supporting the restaurant service by resetting tables, preparing crockery and cutlery, folding napkins, running food from the kitchen to tables, running drinks from the bar to tables as well as assisting with the closure (closing includes some light cleaning and bringing in chairs and tables from the front of the restaurant).


We're seeking an individual with a good command of English, who thrives when working in a busy environment with a buzzing atmosphere where high quality food and fine wines are served, and who boasts outstanding customer service and attention to detail.

Thursday: 7.30pm to 12.30am

Saturday: 7.30pm to 12.30am

Sunday: 12.30pm to 5.30pm and 7.30pm to 12.30pm


As an FYI - we have a set summer closure every year so all the staff can have a proper summer holiday.

This year we will be closed for the last two weeks of August - Monday 19th August to Monday 2nd September.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE...

  • Minimum of six months previous experience working in a busy, fastpaced restaurant
  • The ability to deliver high standards and work under pressure
  • Confident, professional and welcoming personality
  • Great communication and organising skills
  • Previous experience of waiting tables / running food
  • The ability to work closely with the management team and be a team player
  • Outstanding standards of personal presentation, hygiene and grooming
  • Be passionate and enthusiastic about their job
  • Be willing to work three to four days a week, averaging 20 hours
  • Be willing to work evening shifts and weekends, finishing between 12:30am and 1am
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • A good command of spoken English (Italian language is a plus)
