Your Mission:

Together, we transform digital. Now, we're looking for you - our new SEO and Analytics Executive.

You will receive training whilst working on real projects and support in delivering SEO improvements and data insights for clients.

This includes devising SEO strategies, technical SEO optimisation, content optimisation, analytics implementation, and dashboard reporting.

About Cyber-Duck:

Your Manager:

You will report to the Performance Marketing Director.

Where is it based?:

We are hybrid.

You will be based in the UK and will work from our Hertfordshire HQ or London office at least 2-3 times per week.

You will be required to meet with the team and clients regularly.

Key responsibilities:

You will:

  • Dedicating time to CPD and learning and training modules to perform tasks.
  • Have regular and effective communication with clients, helping to explain ideas and opportunities to improve their SEO & website performance.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website traffic and visibility in search engines.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform content creation and optimisation efforts
  • Monitor and analyse website traffic data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track website performance and provide insights.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including creative, marketing, and technology, to ensure a consistent and effective SEO approach.
  • Be reporting on progress, successes, and challenges with clients and teams internally.
  • Support the Performance Marketing Director is managing contractors and other ongoing client related tasks assigned to team members.
  • Continually learn from campaigns and recommendations and feeding this back into future campaigns for all clients.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices to continually improve SEO performance.

Experience and skills:

We're looking for applicants with skills and experience in the following areas:


  • Relevant Experience - A minimum of 1 year experience in SEO, digital marketing, or performance marketing role. Agency experience is preferred.

SEO strategies

  • Able to demonstrate a desire to learn and understand SEO best practice, and gain expertise in either producing or contributing towards custombuilt SEO strategies for clients in various sectors. It is important that you have the desire to learn new skills and crave out a career within an SEO / Analytics / Digital Marketing role.

Website and / or Technical SEO
  • The desire to learn website and / or technical SEO optimisation and SEO audits. The potential to supporting the team with new website launches and ensuring all websites delivered adhere to SEO best practice. The ability to learn and demonstrate gained practical knowledge with tools such as Google Search Console, ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or other related tools, and can identify issues and improvement opportunities where possible.

Content Optimisation: The desire to learn to effectively optimise content by ensuring SEO is considered right from the very beginning, and that briefs are created with clear guidance on how to optimise content for targeted keyword terms. Any previous knowledge or demonstration of experience in this area is a bonus.

Analytics
  • You should be dataled with every decision made, and should be able to demonstrate the desire to learn and gain experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Looker, or other related tools.

Reporting & Dashboards
  • Should have experience creating reports and presenting findings and actionable insights to clients, as well as internal teams that enable us to improve website and marketing performance for our clients. Preferably, you'd have experience building dashboards in Google Data Studio.

Team Collaboration: Communicating regularly with the web developers and/or UX designers to ensure any design or tech recommendations are in line with SEO, content, accessibility, sustainability, and performance best practice.

Managerial skills
  • Demonstrate potential managerial and organisational skills around time management for themselves and within a team.

  • Should have strong presentation skills to build alignment around campaign visions and tactical plans within short spaces of time.

Excellent and charismatic communication skills with the ability to galvanise teams behind a vision and confidently manage client expectations.

Be a commercially minded, results-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Preferably have a Google Analytics Individual certifications.
