Situated on the 10th floor of The Standard, London, Decimo features two separate bar areas and a main restaurant that showcases live fire cooking and two semi private dining spaces, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows and roof terraces providing dramatic views across the London skyline.
At the heart of our hotels are of course of people who through their vibrancy and energy bring our properties to life. We are now seeking to cast a team of diverse and dynamic individuals that will capture the very essence of the Standard London to join our team as a Senior Bartender .
Your role
Prior experience as a Senior or Head Bartender with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar 'Lifestyle' boutique hotel, destination cocktail bar or similar busy city bar To have proven knowledge of spirits, well versed in both classic and contemporary cocktails with a good understanding of the latest trends in the London bar scene To be highly social, motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions Prior experience using squirrel epos is advantageous, however full training will be given Any relevant qualifications such as WSET are advantageous but not essential Availability full-time with a flexible schedule Tuesday-Saturday (Sundays & Monday off), and able to work late-night as Decimo operates till 3am Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.We are defined by our richness of personality and diversity of background and lifestyle so if you think you have what it takes to be a Senior Bartender , we would love to hear from you
