About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our Decimo Kitchen team at The Standard London. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated section in the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality, and delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

With a passion for cooking and a deep understanding of kitchen operations, you will be able to manage a small section team, monitor food quality, and maintain high standards of service delivery. Your extensive knowledge of Spanish and Mexican cuisine, as well as live fire cooking techniques, will be essential in creating an innovative and exciting menu for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a dedicated section in the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality and service delivery
  • Manage a small section team, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Monitor food quality, maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, incorporating Spanish and Mexican cuisine and live fire cooking techniques
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and high standards of food quality
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a similar large-scale destination restaurant or wider hospitality business
  • Experience of working with Spanish and/or Mexican cuisine and live fire cooking techniques
  • Excellent people skills and prior experience of managing a section across a busy, high-volume restaurant service
  • Strong organisational skills and commercial acumen to manage inventory and minimise wastage
  • Hold professional culinary and food safety qualifications to a minimum of level 2
