Decimo Kitchen Team Member Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Decimo Restaurant, located in The Standard London. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated section in the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a dedicated section in the kitchen, supported by a small section team.
  • Monitor food quality and service delivery for your section, serving over 200 covers a night.
  • Support the management of the kitchen, including daily sourcing of ingredients, development and production of dishes, and control of products and stock.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a high-energy and fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience, with at least 1 year as a Chef De Partie / Senior Chef De Partie.
  • Experience of working with Spanish &/or Mexican Cuisine and Live Fire Cooking is a plus.
  • Excellent people skills and prior experience of managing a section across a busy, high-volume restaurant service.
  • Strong organisational skills and commercial acumen in order to manage inventory and minimise wastage.
  • Hold professional culinary & food safety qualifications to a minimum of level 2.
