The post holder's main duties will include: Ensuring patients are allocated and booked to the correct clinics/waiting lists following the patient's consultation. This may involve meeting and discussing patient outcomes with Consultant medical staff Liaise with the specialty and operational teams to ensure clinics are cancelled, when appropriate, in accordance with the patient access policy. If required, notify patients of appointment dates and any cancellations and reschedule as necessary. Monitor waiting lists to ensure compliance with local and national policies and procedures Escalate areas of concern to ensure our patients receive the right care at the right time Work closely with our patient access centre to ensure continuous improvement in the outpatient service Please see attached job description
