An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a part time post within the Learning Disability Service. We're seeking an experienced and skilled Psychology Research Assistant to join us for a fixed term evaluation project.


The post holder will provide support in evaluating the impact of a new post of Specialist Doctor for People with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

The role will involve data collection, data analysis and report writing.

This role is open as a fixed-term contract, or a secondment. If you are interested in a secondment, please ensure you have your manager's approval prior to applying.

Working under supervision of a Clinical Psychologist to support the evaluation of the role of Specialist Doctor for PMLD.

  • Arranging focus groups and meetings
  • Collecting qualitative and quantitative data
  • Supporting a peer researcher
  • Collating and interpreting data
  • Supporting in disseminating findings in written form and through presentations
