Sales Development Representative.

About:
Our client is helping corporates to measure and minimise their carbon footprint when hosting in-person, hybrid and corporate events.


With increased visibility into the environmental impact, event organisers are able to reduce their footprint in the planning stages - supporting the world-wide effort for a net-zero future.


With proven success and a number of key clients under their belt, it's now time to bring in an Inside Sales Executive to be instrumental in the acquisition of new customers.

Incoming regulation changes mean companies have an obligation to report on carbon emissions, further strengthening positionnTruly international TAM - any company globally that hosts events is a potential clientnWorking closely with the CEO & Founder and Commercial Director to create an effective sales function.nFlexible and hybrid working.

About the role:


Booking and qualifying outbound meetings (BANT) with high-level stakeholders across event teams.nLearning about why companies within the TAM would be compelled to use a new solution and leveraging this in contact strategies - this is a low volume high value based approach.nLeverage tools such as Hubspot and LinkedIn to drive multi-channel prospecting campaigns (mix of calls, emails, video and LinkedIn outreach + any creative methods you discover) into new accounts.nLearning about the pain points and opportunities in how customers are currently hosting events and their awareness of their carbon output.nLearning and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of incoming and changing regulations around corporate emissions reporting and leveraging this in strategies.nIdentifying sales opportunities (both inbound and outbound); handing over leads to the Commercial Director and closing your own opportunities depending which segment they fall into.nCollaborating with wider teams, including leadership, marketing and product to provide prospect feedback to further refine the sales process.nRunning the full sales cycle with more transactional opportunities coming through the inbound channel.nAttending regular local and global industry events and relevant trade shows in a sales capacity.nMaintaining good CRM hygiene for accurate metric tracking and forecasting.

Are excited by a fast-past, constantly evolving startup environment.nExperience in an Inside Sales Executive role - including cold calling, crafting personalised outreach messages and prospecting videos.nExperience using HubSpot, particularly Sales, Workflows and Reporting functions.nPrevious closing experience in some capacity.nWilling to take ownership of the sales development function and make it your own.nTrack record of achieving against a quota in previous positions.nHave excellent written and verbal communication skills.nAre able to leverage tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hubspot and other sales tools.
