Leading a team of 9, you'll be responsible for ensuring best practice financial management, as well supporting strategy and commercial decision making.

Main duties include:

  • Accountable for Opex spend for cost centre, including monitoring and improving cost control procedures
  • Investment appraisals for capex requirements and R&S business cases, supporting the development of product roadmaps
  • Decision support for bids and proposals, working closely with contract and compliance team
  • Improving accounting and control processes for forward looking KPIs
  • Developing and mentoring direct reports and playing an active role in wider teams' performance
  • Overseeing the production of budgets and forecasts
  • Business partnering Operations and Engineering teams
  • Working with MD on future growth strategies
  • Preparing ad hoc reports

Key skills & experience required:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Proven track record in business partnering
  • Exposure to IFRS1 long term contract revenue recognition
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing or technology lead environment
  • Collaborates widely, influences others.
