Arlington Resource Management is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to assist the Head of Finance with day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities.

  • Maintain accurate financial ledgers, including sales, purchase, and general ledgers.
  • Process purchase/expense invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Resolve supplier queries and prepare supplier payment runs.
  • Raise accounts receivable invoices/credit notes and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reporting requirements.
  • Assist in intercompany and other balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze, reconcile, and post credit card statements.
  • Assist with service charge postings and reconciliations.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of HMRC returns, including VAT and CIS.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and submission.
  • Provide month-end support and assist with the preparation of management accounts and year-end financial statements.
  • Perform ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed and assist with office administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant with strong Double Entry bookkeeping and Sage Line 50 skills.
