Weekend Garden Retail Supervisors.


Are you passionate about plants? We are looking for enthusiastic Garden Retail Supervisors to join our team to help manage the garden centre retail areas at weekends.

These roles will help the team to care for plants and manage the displays - these roles are very physical and will require you to be on your feet.

The role is varied and will suit someone who enjoys a range of tasks

Typical tasks will include:

  • Plant care and watering
  • Merchandising plants and dry goods
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Customer service
  • Till work
  • Supervising Volunteers


Chestnut Nursery is a project of the charity SWOP supporting adults with mental illness and has gained local acclaim for its excellent quality plants and high - quality customer experience.

It is through the sale of homegrown plants that the charity raises income for its sustainability.
