We have an opportunity for a dependable and committed individual to join our collaborative team. Someone with experience implementing tasks and responsibilities in accordance with the Organisations Core Values. Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning, directing work and enshrining compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures. Experience within refractory manufacturing would be an advantage, but not essential.

  • Note This is a dusty environment and the role will be predominantly based on the production floor._

Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday : 08:00 to 16:30, Friday : 06:00 to 13:00

Willing to work overtime during the week and at weekends when necessary.

Job Role

  • Report to the Production Manager.
  • Prepare the floor for daily production.
  • Review production setups for accuracy and quality requirements.
  • Monitor daily production.
  • Ensure all employees follow health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in health & safety or quality investigations.
  • Perform stock takes.
  • Ensure document control is being completed properly.
  • Communicate with other departments.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the manufacturing process.
  • Must have some basic understanding of Outlook, Teams and Excel (Full training on internal ERP system will be provided.

From £14.72 per hour
