Logistics Operations Specialist at Jonathan Lee Recruitment

We are partnering with a collaborative company to hire a Logistics Operations Specialist. The role offers an umbrella contract rate of £25.96 per hour (inside IR35).

The Logistics Operations Specialist will work with a dynamic test planning and logistics team under time pressure. Responsibilities include managing internal movement and storage of test vehicles and test property.

  • Liaising with Aero lead engineers and the wind tunnel test facility to create detailed weekly plans for test activities
  • Organising logistics for personnel and test vehicles, such as vehicle transportation, travel line management, and fitter support
  • Vehicle preparation tasks including instrumentation, mechanical component removal/assembly, and wheel and tyre changes
  • Coordinating workshop activities and tracking job cards for workshop team support

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in test planning and/or logistics planning
  • Ability to work under time pressure, take direction, and use initiative
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications
  • Full UK driving license without endorsements
