We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Air Freight Operator to join our client's dynamic team. Your Role:

As an Air Freight Operator, you will be at the forefront of managing and overseeing air freight operations. Your keen attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication abilities will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of air freight shipments.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of air freight shipments, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Documentation: Prepare and process all necessary air freight documentation in compliance with customs regulations.
  • Coordination: Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to coordinate the arrival and departure of shipments.
  • Customs Clearance: Work closely with customs authorities to ensure the timely clearance of goods.
  • Client Communication: Provide regular updates to clients on shipment status and handle any inquiries promptly.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the shipment process to maintain seamless operations.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input shipment details into the logistics management system.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operational activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

Your Skills and Experiences:

  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in air freight operations.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing documentation and data entry.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • IT Proficiency: Proficient in using logistics management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly and effectively resolve operational issues.
