About the Job:

As the Director of Product for Geospatial Experience at Axon, you'll play a crucial role in the Real-Time Operations pillar, which is a key focus area for the company. You'll be leading the charge in transforming public safety with cutting-edge products like Axon Dispatch and Axon Respond. The goal? To establish itself as the go-to platform for real-time operations in public safety, elevating decision-making and situational awareness for first responders, dispatchers, and command staff.

Understanding the importance of location in emergency situations is fundamental to enhancing public safety and response effectiveness. Your role is to enable global customers to identify where help is most needed, streamline response allocation, guide first responders efficiently, and provide detailed geospatial insights for any given incident.

You'll address core customer challenges by envisioning solutions, mapping out strategies, getting hands-on with product development, and assembling a high-performing team to execute your vision.

Responsibilities:

Location: Hybrid role based at our London Office

Reports to: Senior Director of Product, Real Time Operations

Direct Reports: 2-3

  • Drive business growth by defining a vision, setting the roadmap, and leading the execution of a key segment of Axon's Real-Time Operations portfolio.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, deeply understand their needs, and deliver exceptional results that earn their trust.
  • Showcase leadership in pioneering new initiatives, collaborating with customers to design tailored solutions, and presenting effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and launch user-experience focused applications for complex scenarios, challenging conventions, and fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Software Product Management, driving revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Proven track record of building strong customer relationships and delivering end-to-end solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using tools like SQL and Excel.
  • Experience with geospatial technologies like Google, HERE, and ESRI is advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to startups and global tech companies is beneficial.
  • Background in developing both Consumer and Enterprise products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with building products spanning hardware, software, and services is desirable.
