Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and northeast Hampshire.


We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.

We deliver high quality care across our 140 services, all of which are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Individual treatment and support, which helps people work towards recovery, is at the heart of everything we do.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • To manage all communications and administrative tasks in relation to carers, FoCUS and patient experience. FoCUS is our Trust's Forum of Carers and people who use our Services who ensure that the voices of people who use services and carers are actively involved in helping us improve services. Each local area has a FoCUS Rep and local meeting which reports into our Trust's FoCUS Committee.
  • To manage our internal website and any related communications for Staff Carers.
  • To arrange all meetings for Carers, FoCUS and patient experience, including coordinate the invites, papers and minutes.
  • To coordinate Patient Experience reports and Carers related reports, collating the information required from different members of staff into the appropriate report and inputting patient experience data as and when required.
  • To coordinate the Carers Induction Training, ensuring that facilitators are available and build on own capability/knowledge to be able to also deliver the training.
  • To manage our patient experience data platform, including the Friends and Family test, liaising with the provider regarding any changes required to the surveys and to provide training to the organisation on accessing the patient experience platform.
  • To support the Trust Carers Lead/Head of Participation, Experience and Improvement with organising and managing meetings, conferences and training events.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Experience of working in an administrative/coordinator role for at least 1 year
  • Experience of working collaboratively with individuals in different roles
  • Experience of report writing
  • Experience of working with data
  • Experience of collecting patient experience data or other survey data
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
