The role
As a Project Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team and to take accountability for critical business requirements from day one.

Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:

The delivery of the T31 Frigate Bofor guns installation and commissioning inter business project Management of the anticipated Bofor guns In service Support contract bid process and delivery of that project if Babcock is successful Leading a team and the planning, motivation, scheduling, other team collaboration, conflict management, negotiations, appraisals etc. and be accountable for profit/loss, health and safety for the project

This role is full time, thirty-five hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with two days in the office/onsite and three days working from home.

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. We are happy to consider flexible, blended working, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview.

Essential experience of the Project Manager

Knowledge of project controls tools and how these tools operate to provide key information for decision making Commercially and financially astute, with a challenging mind set Excellent interpersonal skills, communicates effectively with colleagues at all levels and with external bodies

Qualifications for the Project Manager

PMQ or PPQ or equivalent (desirable)

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
