We are looking for a Emergency Response Officer to join us at our client site in South Kensington.

Our site is a large museum which houses many different artifacts and also hold many different events including weddings and fashions show.


As a Emergency Response Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Emergency Response Officer:

  • Work closely with the Duty Security Manager, Control room Manager & Contract Manager to help manage client requirements.
  • Be an initial point of contact for all daily operational Fire Safety and Health & Safety related matters across the site.
  • To be the immediate response to first aid emergencies within the museum as instructed.
  • Respond to and safety perform lift rescue as requested.
  • Deliver H&S Tool-Box Talks with team members.
  • To carry out incident assessments and dynamic risk assessments.
  • Administer the museum Hot Work Permit and Isolation Permit system.
  • Carry out fire risk assessments
  • Ensure that the museum adheres to Fire Precautions to the Fire Precautions Act 1971 and workplace.
  • To recognise and report hazards associated with fire extinguishers.
  • Have a full knowledge and know the location of all Fire Hydrants and hose reels.

  • A willingness to work cooperatively and constructively with both peer groups and the leadership provided by department supervisors and management.
  • An ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal reports.
  • A flexibility to work shifts including weekends
