First 4 Logistics Ltd are currently recruiting for a Permanent Full Time employed customer service operator to join our local team in Newhaven.

As a Customer Service Operator with us you will be the voice of the Company, responsible for:

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensuring excellent customer service is given to all our customers, through all forms of communication.
  • Answering inbound calls and liaising with other depots and our drivers to ensure all queries and problems are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Building working relationships with regular customers to retain and grow the business.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to be proactive with a positive, flexible and problemsolving attitude.
  • A good team player, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong and effective communicator with an excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • PC literate


This role is full time, Monday to Friday 45 hours per week, 8.00 am - 5.30pm Saturdays are worked on a 1 in 3 rota paid as overtime for 5 hours.


We offer a competitive basic salary, a 3 month probationary period as well as a contributory pension scheme and 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.
